”Being an agent of balance” Jerin Rutherford

After a storied year of police responses in 2020 while serving on a hard platoon, he fought for his life during the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6^th, 2021.  Jerin Rutherford shares how he navigated the job and his personal reaction in the months after an incident which received national attention but was very personal to him.  Jerin has 8 years in law enforcement with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C.
